Lake Manasarovar or Lake Manasa Sarovar (Tibetan: མ་ཕམ་གཡུ་མཚོ།, Mapham Yutso; Traditional Chinese: 瑪旁雍錯; Simplified Chinese: 玛旁雍错) is a fresh-water lake. It is in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, 2,000 kilometres (1,242.7 mi) from Lhasa. Lake Manasarovar is the source of the Pakistani river Sindhu. Sindhu flows west to the Arabian Sea.
