William John "Liam" Neeson OBE (born June 7, 1952) is an Irish actor, nominated for many awards including the Oscar. He is well known for his role as Oskar Schindler in the 1993 movie Schindler's List, and after that he has appeared in several popular movie series, including the Star Wars prequel trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia and Batman Begins. He has also continued to play real-life characters, including Michael Collins and Alfred Kinsey.
