Marilyn vos Savant (born August 11, 1946 in St. Louis) is an American magazine columnist, playwright and author. She became very famous in the Guinness Book of World Records category for having the most highest IQ of 228.[1] Since 1986, she has hosted Parade magazine's "Ask Marilyn" column. In the column she answers the questions from readers on a variety of subjects.

Guinness retired the "Highest IQ" category in 1990 after concluding IQ tests were too unreliable to designate a single record holder.[2]
