Mary Magdalene is a woman in all four gospels of the New Testament. She became a faithful follower of Jesus after he delivered her from seven demons. [1] She witnessed the crucifixion and burial of Jesus, and was the first person to see and talk with him after he arose from the dead. [2] And, she told the apostles that she had seen him alive.
