Matt Duchene (born January 16, 1991 in Haliburton, Ontario) is an NHL ice hockey centre for the Colorado Avalanche. He was picked by the Avalanche with the third overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He played in the OHL with the Brampton Battalion.
