Meryl Streep (June 22, 1949) is an American actress. She has appeared in many movies, including Falling in Love, The Bridges of Madison County, and The House of Spirits. She was born in New Jersey. Streep is considered one of the best actresses of her time. She has won three Academy Awards and has been nominated for seventeen in total.

Since September 30, 1978 Streep is married to Don Gummer. They have four children, son Henry Wolf Gummer (born on November 13, 1979) and daughters Mary Willa Gummer (born on August 3, 1983), Grace Jane Gummer (born on May 9, 1986), and Louisa Jacobson Gummer (born on June 12, 1991). She is a Democrat.[1]
