Mike Pelino (ice hockey)

Mike Pelino (b. November 13, 1959 in Welland[1], Ontario) is a Canadian Ice hockey coach. He has been an assistant coach for the New York Rangers from 2004[1] until 2009. Pelino started his coaching career in the NHL as an assistant coach for the Florida Panthers in 2003[1]. In 2010, he became the head coach of the Peterborough Petes in the OHL[2].

Since 2013, he has been working for the Metallurg as an assistant coach in KHL. In the 2013/2014 season the team won Gagarin's Cup and became the KHL champions.
