Mitchell "Mitch" Ryan (January 11, 1934 – March 4, 2022) was an American actor. He was known for his roles as Burke Devlin in Dark Shadows, Edward Montgomery in Dharma & Greg and as Dr. Terence Wynn in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. He also played the villain General Peter McAllister in Lethal Weapon.

Ryan was born on January 11, 1934[1] in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was raised in Louisville, Kentucky.[2] He was married to Lynda Morse from 1972 until they divorced. They had three children.

Ryan died on March 4, 2022 at his home in Los Angeles, California from congestive heart failure, aged 88.[3]
