Mount Takao (高尾山 Takao-san) is a mountain 50 km from the center of Tokyo. It is within the Meiji no Mori Takao Quasi-National Park.[1]
In 1927, Mount Takao was recognized as one of the 100 Landscapes of Japan which best showed Japan and its culture in the Shōwa period.[2]
