Nahomi Kawasumi (川澄 奈穂美 Kawasumi Nahomi, born 23 September 1985) is a Japanese female athlete. She is best known as an association football player.[1]
Kawasumi was a member of the Japan women's national football team that won the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. She scored two goals during the tournament.[2]
She played on the women's team which won a silver medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Her play was highlighted when she scored a crucial goal in her team's first match in the Olympic tournament.[3]
