The Opel Omega is a car produced by Opel. It replaced the Opel Rekord in 1986. The first generation was sold as the Vauxhall Carlton in the UK and was facelifted in 1991. It was sold as the Vauxhall Omega in the UK with the second generation which arrived in 1994 with a facelift in late 1999. It was discontinued in 2003 with no direct replacement. It was also sold as the Cadillac Catera in the US from 1997 to 2001 with a facelift for the 2000 model year.
