Pensi La Pass

Pensi-la is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of Kashmir, which is known as the Gateway to Zanskar.

View of the source of Stod River, which is also called the Suru River. The Glacier that feeds the Suru/Stod has shrunk and dried up. The Pensi La act as a watershed between two river systems- the Zanskar and the Suru Rivers.
