Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr. (born March 23, 1978), known as Perez Hilton, is an American blogger and television presenter. He writes and gossips about musicians, actors and celebrities. He is openly gay.[1] His name is a play on the name "Paris Hilton".[2] Hilton is a Democrat and attended the 2012 Democratic National Convention in support of President Obama's re-election.[3]
