The Plovercrest (Stephanoxis lalandi) is a species of hummingbird. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
Its habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forest,[1] and degraded former forest. The Plovercrest has a blue chest, green back and white flanks.
