Randy Travis (b. May 4, 1959, North Carolina) is an American country music singer and actor. He first went into mainstream in the mid to late 1980s, having a number of hits. By the early to mid 1990s, his success began to decline. In his acting career, he had several movies, such as The Rainmaker (1997).
