Revaz "Rezo" Chkheidze (Georgian: რევაზ (რეზო) ჩხეიძე; 8 December 1926 – 3 May 2015)[1] was a Georgian movie director. He was known for directing Father of a Soldier and The Saplings, both of which entered at the Moscow Film Festival. He was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1980.
