Robert Douglas Whistle (born April 4, 1961 in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing career[change | change source]
Whistle joined the New York Rangers team on August 13, 1985. He played 32 games for the Rangers before getting traded to St. Louis for Tony McKegney and Bruce Bell. After playing 19 games for the Blues, he was traded to the Washington Capitals. However, he played for their farm team the whole season, and he retired at the end of that season.
