Robert William "Bob" Edgar (May 29, 1943 – April 23, 2013) was an American politician and administrator from Pennsylvania, and a member of the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1975 to 1987, representing the 7th district of Pennsylvania.

Edgar was born on May 28, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He studied at Drew University. Edagr died on April 23, 2013 in his home in Annandale, Virginia from a heart attack, aged 69.[1][2]
