Rosie O'Donnell (born March 21, 1962) is an American actress and television host. She gained exposure by appearing on Star Search, a talent show.
O'Donnell won the Emmy award in 1999. She is openly lesbian,[1] and lives with a woman partner.
O'Donnell was the host of the show The View on ABC from 2006-2007, when she was replaced by Whoopi Goldberg, due to issues.
