Ryan Getzlaf (born May 10, 1985 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a professional Canadian ice hockey centre that currently plays for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL) where he is the current alternate captain. He was the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (now Anaheim Ducks) in the first round with the 19th pick in 2003.
He played in the WHL for the Calgary Hitmen where he played four seasons.
Getzlaf won a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
