Saccharide

Saccharide can mean different things:
- Saccharides are the anions and salts of the sweetener saccharin (sodium saccharide, denatonium saccharide). Saccharin is sometimes used to replace sugar.
- Saccharide is a general synonym for sugars. Common kinds of sugar are monosaccharide, disaccharide, and polysaccharide.
