Sachal Sarmast

Hazrat Sain (Saint) Sachal Sarmast (1730-1829), whose real name was Abdul Wahab Faruqi, was a famous mystic poet and Sufi of Sindh (now in Pakistan).

Sachal was a person who loved God and wrote beautiful poems about this special love of his.[1] He spent most of his life teaching that all human beings, of all religions and colours and groups etc, are bound together by the Divine Love.[2]

His shrine is at Daraza village, Ranipur, close to Khairpur, Pakistan.[3]
