Sasheer Zamata Moore[1][2] (/zəˈmtə/; born May 6, 1986) is an American actress and comedienne. In 2014, she started appearing on Saturday Night Live. She was the first black woman on the show since 2007.[3]

Zamamta was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She lives in New York City.
