Scarlett O'Hara was a American post-hardcore band from Mcallen, Texas. The name of the band comes from the main protagonist in the 1936 novel, Gone with the Wind. Scarlett O'Hara formed in 2007 by friends Rene Lopez and Eddie Cano. They soon recruited Alek Samodouroff, Logan Burns, Andrew Mena, Morgan Vincent Hochstetler and Edwin Chapa to their band. Hochstetler left the band in 2009 to go to college and Chapa was replaced for Bernal. The band was previously signed to Rise Records before they were dropped by the company in 2011. The band decided to take a break and go on hiatus so that other band members could pursue other career options.
