Serena Jameka Williams, (b. September 26, 1981, Saginaw, Michigan[1]) is an American former World No. 1 ranked female tennis player who has won 46 singles titles and two Olympic gold medals in women's doubles. In 2005, Tennis magazine ranked her as the 17th-best player of the preceding forty years.[2] She is the younger sister of another former world no. 1 professional female tennis player, Venus Williams. The Williams sisters grew in in Los Angeles[2] and currently live together in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States.
