Smile (band)

Smile was a rock band which preceded the rock band Queen. It formed in 1967. The members were Brian May (guitar), Roger Taylor (drums) and Tim Staffell (bass and vocals). When Tim Staffell left the band in 1970, Freddie Mercury replaced him and the band became Queen. John Deacon joined in 1971.
