Survey of Israel - SOI (Hebrew: מפ"י - המרכז למיפוי ישראל) is the national Israeli institute of geodesy and map-making. It was founded in 1920 as the Survey of the British Mandate of Palestine. It is in Tel Aviv with branches in Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, Haifa and Nazareth. In 2011 the Israeli government decided to transfer all units into a new building to be built in Jerusalem.
