13 years ago, companies such as Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson and Psion joined together, to create Symbian association. This let them promote using EPOC designed for mobile phones. Symbian is follower of EPOC system. It is used in pocket PC Psion, running on the ARM processors. This operation system has had many changes since it was first created. Today, Symbian OS is used for all Nokia smartphones.
