Is it just me or does it seem like a travesty that on the "simple English" version of this year (and I'm assuming other years), the only events that get mentioned are related to American pop culture? Did the author of this article assume that just because a person might not be particularly fluent in English (or functionally literate, a lot of Americans can't read the newspaper), he or she only cares about Milli Vanilli? Where's Boutros-Boutros Ghali on this page? Where's Bush addressing the Australian parliament? People learning English, and native English speakers who simply can't read that well, should have access to all the information that more fluent readers do. — This unsigned comment was added by 141.211.120.95 (talk • changes) on 20:30, 6 November 2005.

It's incomplete, it's still being worked on. Just chill out, and work on it yourself. Rafterman 20:36, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
