Ruling half the Wolrd

I cannot find a source that shows that he ruled half the world - in fact, what I found seems to indicate that the reach of his power did not extend past the immediate Middle East. I did find a quotation attributed to him in which he talks about "ruling half the world", but this isn't evidence of his actual power. Kansan (talk) 16:17, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin → Zayn al-Abidin – Per WP:COMMONNAME. "Zayn al-Abidin" dominates in the Ngram results. The much more reliable Google Scholars shows only 328 results for Ali ibn Husayn whereas 2,050 results for Zayn al-Abidin. The name Zayn al-Abidin is also in-line with WP:UCRN.
