In real estate, is it legal to call a room a bedroom if it doesn't have a closet? (unsigned)

No doubt it would depend on the jurisdiction. In other words, is it "legal" where? Missouri? Lancastershire? South Africa? Ukraine? Nepal? It is quite possible that no expert has ever done the research to answer all this, but it would be easier if you could narrow it down somewhat...!
