Fruits and dairy products are common examples of simple carbohydrates. (oligosaccharides and polysaccharides) are complex carbohydrates. Fruits, vegetables and whole grains are common examples of complex carbohydrates.

Which means:

Fruits....are common examples of simple carbohydrates. Fruits....are common examples of complex carbohydrates.
