Things to fix before GA voting[change source]

  • Some ideas of mine...
    • Is there a real need to disambiguate the title with (police)? We don´t have a Color of the day article so I suggest you move this one there.
      • I think so; the color of the day is also a rule that is a part of Thai Buddhist astrology. I wanted to leave room for an import of en:Color of the day. If I move the article, then it will have to be admin-moved later on when/if the Buddhist article is created (which I probably will do at some point) in order to maintain parity with enWP.
    • For repeated notes (e.g. 2, 3 and 4 & 8 and 9), use ref name.
      •  Done (No excuse, I know how to do it, and should always do it [cut/paste = me being lazy]) :)
    • Per MOS, move references to immediately follow punctuation wherever possible, e.g. move [10] behind the comma and [11] behind the full stop.
      •  Done; I'm always doing that! :)
    • Fix ref 7 (i.e. complete the fields accessdate and publisher as a minimum) and for references with only one page used, use p. not pp.
      •  Done
    • I think you should clearly state what it is used for in the lead, at least in summary.
      •  Done
    • Avoid contractions such as "don't" per MOS.
      •  Done
    • See if you can find a link for safety, perhaps Wiktionary?
      •  Done
    • "With such a large amount of armed officers..." I´d prefer "With so many armed officers..."

Complex terms[change source]

Hi, just a brief list of the complex terms which I think should linked, redescribed or explained in more detail...

  • "act like drunken" (pretend to be drunk - linking both pretend and drunk?)

  • recognition system - no need for recognition I think...

  • "black policing" - black is ambiguous here so be specific.
 Done changed to African American (although I personally feel this is also problematic, the correct biological term is negroid or negro both of which are socially unacceptable)
