Merger with 12 apostles[change source]

I don't think there should be a merger. There should be clear links between the two articles but already they are big enough to not need a merger. The merger was proposed on 21 July 2008 and nobody has put any comments in support of the proposal since then.--Matilda (talk) 07:15, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The thing about Simple is that mergers discussions mean even less than they do on English. With only about 25 regular contributors, stuff gets tagged all the time and nobody comments until someone notices how long it's been and removes the tag. When RyanCross was doing this some months ago, I suggested that he should decide whether to merge or not because nobody else was probably going to comment on it anyway (he had been saying "no discussion, removing tag"). cassandra (talk) 07:25, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - I will be bold then and remove the tags. I am still learning how things happen on this wikipedia. If I offend anybody, I do not mean to, please undo what I have done and let me know so that I don't make the same mistake again. Thank you --Matilda (talk) 00:52, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible move[change source]

Currently, the Disciple page is completely blank after that page's content was merged into this article. Would it make sense then to simply delete the Disciple page, and move this page into it's place? It doesn't seem to make sense to have a disamiguated title when a more simpler title is available. --Gordonrox24 | Talk 19:03, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's a very narrow concept if limited to Christianity. I think it's of much wider use, for the kind of studentship which involves the whole life. I mean, we accept the way a mentor is something more than a teacher. So should we accept that a disciple is something more than a student. Macdonald-ross (talk) 19:27, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for fleshing out that page. Definitly the better option --Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:27, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
