hi shapiros, maybe you did not realize that "e-cigarette" is a trademarked term ? I just had electronic cigarette undeleted after a discussion with the people who deleted it, i did not realize that you were not aware of the situation. yes i think we should merge the information to the page for electronic cigarette. although "e-cig" and "e-cigarette" are widely used in place of electronic cigarette, i think it would be prudent to have them direct to the page for electronic cigarette as they are listed as trademarks by Cixi e-cig and only became popular after that started selling their product using those terms. an explanation of this and a question as to whether these trademarks have become "genericized" can be given on this page also. or else "e-cigarette" could be left with an explanation of its usage and a link to electronic cigarette K08 (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Evidence that Stephane Vlachos invented ecigarette?

I've been looking for evidence that Stephane Vlachos invented the ecigarette, and so far can't find anything other than claims on blogs.

There hasn't been any trace of his name in official documents according to [1]. Until prooved this should be a hoax.--Yamavu (talk) 23:39, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
