  • Delete: the terms in the list of chess terms are regular terms; most are used in the laws and tounament descriptions. 'Fast chess' is just an adjective in front of a noun. The list of chess terms was developed to avoid a collection of stubs on minor chess terms; only the major terms have full pages. This approach was agreed by the original chess project (see User:I-on/WikiProject Chess), and I see no reason to change it. Best delete this, which is confusing the issue. Let me be clear: this is not a chess term, it is just ordinary language. Proper chess terms are listed in the FIDE regulations and appendices, and by reliable encyclopedic chess reference works. A page on WP cannot be just two words put together by a user: it must be something which is an established topic or otherwise noteworthy. Equally silly would be to have a page titled 'Slow chess'. See the point? Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:31, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
