24 hours?[change source]

This article and its sister Geostationary orbit both flatly state that the orbit takes 24 hours. Of course it doesn't, that is a simplification. The simplification is understandable, since sidereal time is such a pain in the butt to explain (we don't even have a page on it, so check en:Sidereal time). What's troubling me is the ethics of stating as a fact something we know to be untrue. Your thoughts would be welcome... Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:24, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
