Category[change source]

What do you think about a "category:invertebrates"? The category:animals has been used to all invertebrates plus animals-related topics. If you think it is ok, I will make that category and move all articles about invertebrate animals to it, leaving the category:Animals only to animals-related topics (for example, alpha male). Note that I want to create only a category for all invertebrates, not one to arachnids, other to mollusks, etc. -- aflm (talk) 00:47, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The small number of articles in the animals cat doesn't make it urgently needed in terms of overcrowding, but organizationally it would be an improvement, so why not. Guess it's better to do it now when it will need only 10 re-cats, rather than when it needs dozens. Freshstart 02:44, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Problem[change source]

Are Lancelets invertebrates? --Eptalon 15:41, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Long time to wait for an answer, but yes, they are indeed invertebrates, one of the two sister sub-phyla to the vertebrates. See List of animal phyla. Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:40, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
