Article title[change source]

Just wanted to ask why the title of this article (formerly Libya) has been changed. As far as I can tell, this name was only used by the Gaddafi regime, and seeing as that regime has been toppled (mostly) it seems like if anything, this should be a page separate from Libya, not a name for it.

Also, there's a period in the article title, which shouldn't be there. [+piccolo] 23:11, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Someone should rename the article to Libya. It looks ridiculous among other interwiki links.--Rafy (talk) 09:51, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Everything in the "Politics and History" section above the subheading on suffrage is very complex. Whew! Imagine if someone who can't understand English well tried to read that. Can someone simplify that? 96.26.213.146 (talk) 03:26, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
