First Language

The first language of Zamenhof was Polish. Some of biographers writing that yiddish was a language of his home but family of Zamenhof is negating this. Lois Christophe Zamenhof, grandson of Ludwik Z. is proving about Polish at Zamenhofs house by leters on Polish and Polish atmosfere on his family.

This is similar to information in the English Wikipedia page. The page here presently says that Zamenhof's native language was Russian, so this needs to be corrected. -- Deborahjay 21:06, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
