I found some old Marvel comic cartoons clips online. These were cheap, moderately animated clips that were on television in the mid sixties. The program included cartoons of famous Stan Lee characters included as "The Mighty Hulk", "Thor", "Iron Man", "Captain America" and "The Submariner". These were very cheaply produced cartoons and consisted of mostly still frames of comic character drawings with a great narrator voice over providing the story line. There only part the cartoon that was animated were characters mouth. Any 'action' that these action heroes provided was very basic drawing rotations some image within the drawing. The cartoons relied heavily on the popularity of the comic book characters existing print followers and the only really good parts of the cartoon were a few of the theme songs (not all of them- The God of Thunder, Mighty Thor and Prince Namor- The Submariner were really lame) and the character voices. This leads to my question...finally... I was watching one of the Submariner cartoons and the voice sound VERY familiar. It took a little time to place it but it finally hit me...Patrick Stewart! The cartoons were produced in 1966, which would make Stewart around 26 years old. Please look it up online and verify for me.
