Punk in the '70s[change source]

I think this article needs to mention the Ramones in there, instead of just saying that punk rock was an entirely British creation, as the current article indicates. Punk grew out of the underground scene around CBGB's in New York City, not just sort of springing out of nowhere with the British punk rockers. McFlynnTHM (talk) 14:30, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
