Slinky is not the longest running advertising jingle[change source]

Homer Fesperman and Charles Weagley wrote the Slinky television jingle in 1962. In Timeless Toys, Tim Walsh writes that this jingle is the longest running jingle in advertising history.[1][2] In 1990 USA Today reported that 90 percent of all adults surveyed knew the Slinky jingle.[6]

I dispute Mr. Walsh's comment. It may be the longest running NATIONAL jingle but BC Clark's Christmas Jingle debuted in 1956 and has run every Christmas season since. It has been referenced on Wiki Answers wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_longest_running_ad_jingle_in_TV_history as such.
