Talk:Suicide of Amanda Todd

The title should be just the name 'Amanda Todd'. The content is about much more than her suicide, and in any event we don't have death causes as titles for biographies. Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:47, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article is about a notable suicide of a non-notable person. Had she not killed herself, there wouldn't be an article. This isn't a biography; it's an account of an event. All articles about deaths need biographical information so that the reader understands what led up to it. We have other articles about notable deaths of non-notable people, such as Death of Mark Duggan (controversial death of an ordinary gang member, not a notable criminal) and Murder of Meredith Kercher (controversial murder of an ordinary student).
