Pope Innocent and Siamese envoys , 1688

This small incident in Thailand's diplomatic history does not fit into the current version of the article.

In December 1688, Pope Innocent XI received the diplomatic mission sent to the Vatican by Narai, the King of Siam. — Smithies, Michael and Luigi Bressan. (2001). Siam and the Vatican in the Seventeenth Century, p. 98.

Perhaps it may be included at some future date? --Tenmei (talk) 19:21, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Economy[change source]

When the article has enough about the economy, one could mention the illegal economy (and maybe include what niches are leading, when it comes to cheating taxes and such, out of the Thai government).--If the above is not covered, then there is no point getting to the topic of the following title: www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2612357/pork-smuggling-into-thailand-soars. 2001:2020:321:FE96:596E:4605:60BC:BDA7 (talk) 15:47, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
