A really careless piece of writing![change source]

The Last Waltz was The Band's final concert which took place on Thanksgiving (November 26) in 1976 at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, California. It was also made into a movie by Martin Scorsese, that came out in 1978, other than The Band some of the other musicians were: etc etc etc.

  • Who or what is is "The Band"? This is an encyclopedia. Don't act as if your reader knows who you are talking about!
  • It was also made into a movie by Martin Scorsese, that came out in 1978, other than The Band some of the other musicians were: etc etc etc.
This sentence is absolute nonsense for two reasons.
  1. Two sentences have been run together without a fullstop or capital letter.
  2. It reads as if the "other musicians" all "came out" in 1978. I don't think so, Darlings! Some of them were "out" already, and others are still in the closet.
  • Make it clear whether the "other musicians" were part of the concert. You can't jam another idea, on a date two yyears later in between the two concert bits and expect it to be clear.
