Proposed good article status review[change source]

Here is a small and short review for the article:

  • Many redlinks(a total of 8 redlinks)
  • Not enough blue links, the Industrialization, History, Environment and Political Data sections can be improved with more blue links.
  • Missing file in the Museums and Art Galleries section
  • File is hitting the text of the Cuisine section in the Museums and Art Galleries section
  • A grand total of 6 reference, needs much more.
  • References and Other websites are placed in the wrong order. References should come first before other websites link.
    •  Fixed

That should be about it. Inform me when you have finished with all these! Hydriz (talk) 13:01, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Architect Olaguibel designed the Arquillos building, the most important in the City

1. Why is "City" capitalized?

 Fixed

2. What do you mean, the "most important in the city"?

  • VG is a very old city, it was founded in 1180 by the Navarrese King Sancho VI, who conquered the small hill village of Gasteiz and decided to call it New Victoria.

1. Why abbreviate Vitoria-Gasteiz?

  •  Fixed

2. "VG is a very old city" should be its own sentence

  •  Fixed

A few GA comments[change source]

I made a few edits to try to improve the section on industry. There are two sentences that I marked "needs proof. I'm sure they are true, but it would be good to add references for the statistics there.

Other things I noticed are:

  • The Ikea picture is broken.
    •  Fixed
  • Why use Roman numerals? I think changing "Between XV and XVIII" to "Between 1400 and 1799" of "From 1400-1800" might be simpler.
  • For someone like me who doesn't know Spanish politics, abbreviations like PNV, PSE, etc are hard to understand.
  • Isn't this obvious? "Naturally, the City Council of Vitoria is also headquartered in this city."

That's all for now. It looks like a nice place to live or visit. Gotanda (talk) 02:36, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
