Waheed Murad was a well reputed actor in subcontinent and still remains popular with the masses. Some ignorant editor if tagged the article for deletion, its not a welcoming gesture and his approach has amused me a lot. Anyways, this article is well sourced and linked, and any attempt to delete it is a rebuking effort on the famous actor's part.Haify2 (talk) 20:24, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Attribution[change source]

I'm not going to edit war over an attribution template, but I do think that the people whose work this is should be credited. I believe the insert version was fairly obviously taken from this version of the same English Wikipedia article. Is there any reason why attribution should not be given per our official policy? Since the user who objected to the attribution has commented below without also responding here, I've restored it. Osiris (talk) 07:29, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Removed again, without comment. Again: any reason why attribution should not be given per policy? Osiris (talk) 13:47, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removal[change source]

I've also removed one sentence that was directly copied from its source. If adding it back, please rephrase it so that it isn't plagiarism. Osiris (talk) 04:47, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop inserting copyrighted material into the article. Osiris (talk) 12:52, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do not get personal[change source]

I request every editor who is contributing to Waheed Murad not to be biased as it will not do any good to wikipedia. Haify2 (talk) 19:00, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please take your own advice. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a fan magazine. If you include statements about the person being the most influential, or the first at something, you need a source for that. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:21, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please also see the above for why the piece was removed. It's been explained here on the talk page and in the edit summaries — it is not "unexplained". I'm happy to reword the sentence for you, but you keep reverting so it's better that you do it yourself. It cannot go back in as a straight copy-paste from a news article. Auntof6,Instead of getting touchy on the subject, please refrain from childish approach and be sensible in this regard by exhibiting a higher sense of responsibility. Thankyou
Osiris, You yourself mentioned above that you are not interested in any sort of edit warring but now you are doing the things contradictory to your initial stance. I highly appreciate if both of you start behaving in a mature way. Thank you
Please explain how I have been childish. Also, please sign your posts. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:36, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
