Usage
Template:ISO 639 name lt is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code lt, for example: {{Translated page |lt |name of page at Lithuanian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Lithuanian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Lithuanian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |lt}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|lt| some text in Lithuanian}} wraps the text with <span lang="lt"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Lithuanian-language text. Also available is {{Lang-lt |some text in Lithuanian}} which displays as Lithuanian: some text in Lithuanian.
- {{R from other language|lt|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Lithuanian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|lt}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Lithuanian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
