[unreliable source?]

Documentation icon Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This template will categorise tagged articles into Category:Articles lacking reliable references. Add this template only after a good-faith attempt to verify the reliability of the source in question.

This template takes two optional parameters:

  • |failed= - which if set to 'y' will remove the question mark, noting this as a source that has failed verification and is unreliable.
{{Unreliable source|failed=y}}
  • |date= - which should be set to the month and year when the article was tagged.
{{Unreliable source|date=August 2014}}

For whole sections or articles, use {{unreliable sources}}.

Shortcuts and aliases[change | change source]

  1. {{rs}}
  2. {{verify credibility}}
  3. {{third-party-inline}} — indicates that the source used is too closely connected to the subject
